The Idea

As a devote campaigner for women and young girls development programme,  I am more than pleased to present an efficient and participatory proposal for the discovery and development of women potential in our society.

The idea of founding Visage Women Foundation is to build the collective power of women by empowering them in all areas, shun all forms of domestic violence and also work with them so they can achieve greater prosperity, become leaders and to connect with each other.

Our Mission

  • To build women’s confidence, build their capacity and help them become a better person.
  • Empowering the youths to be self-reliant and financial independent.
  • Educate the girl child on sex and other social vices.

The Challenges

In recent times, a lot of challenges are facing women and the girl child in the society. A cursory look at our country, one will marvel at the neglect and maltreatment of teenagers and women, some of the facts on ground are:

  • Teenagers are been used as baby factory for kidnapers and rituals
  • Sexual abuse which leads to unwanted pregnancy
  • Domestic violence inflicted on women by their husbands
  • Women are not self-reliant and financially independent
  • Women are treated with levity in the political world

Our Programmes

Our programmes offer innovative solutions to the challenges facing women and mentoring women in all sphere of life which include:

  • Publication of Visage Magazine with seasoned writers and life transforming articles.
  • Health and business seminars to encourage upcoming entrepreneurs.
  • Leadership training.
  • Connecting aspiring women with world class knowledge on the pathway to being a successful woman.
  • Celebrity awards.
  • Creating awareness and sensitizing the society on women rights.
  • Educating the girl child on some social vices.

The Visioneer

Olamide Akintola coaches women, provides strategies and solutions, motivates and helps women who want to do better for themselves. She is a mother, a minster of the gospel, an education consultant, a writer, a journalist and a business woman.

She is the publisher of Visage Magazine, a magazine that features inspiring and motivating articles for women with seasoned writers. Her passion for women and girls brought about the birth of Visage Women Foundation which has since inception touch lives in various capacity and shun some evil vices in our society. Her regular talk show for teenage girls tagged ‘Girls Day Out’ has transformed many lives.
